Brings back memories of my own marriage. I hope Jim has many more to put on paper.
This a great memoir that chronicles the hilarity and adventures of James Caskey throughout his clearly eventful marriage and ensuing father-hood and grand-fatherhood. All of the stories are entertaining, and as a college student it makes me hope that by Mr. Caskey's age I will have had an equally entertaining life filled with just as many hilarious misadventures
Husband "I don't think I've ever heard you enjoy a book like that!" (exclaimed several nights in a row), as I read this book. And that's true that I rarely laugh out loud when reading something.
I did indeed giggle and guffaw my way through this very funny and entertaining book! Male or female, I do believe you can find something (or many somethings) to relate to in this well-written collection of interesting thoughts. (am only mildly scared that I can relate to way too many of them!)
Mr. Caskey might not physically smile, but he sure creates them!
I love this book. Written in short story style, it's the type of book you can open to any page and read an enjoyable snippet. Real life and real funny!
I found myself giggling out loud while reading Mr. Caskey's book. His wit is delightful and an easy read. Just the book for a chilly winter afternoon's reading - you must treat yourself to this book.
Just a wonderful read. Uplifting and familiar. I would recommend it highly. Caskey has a way with words and takes what we all want to say and makes it readable.
